According to ExpressAndStar.com, former Albion striker Josh Maja is set to complete a free transfer to Ligue 1 side Le Havre after rejecting a new West Brom contract this summer.
The 27-year-old is set to sign a two-year contract, with an option of a third, at the Normandy club.
Maja joined Albion as a free agent in 2023 after leaving Bordeaux and endured injuries, yet he finished his second season as 12-goal top scorer despite missing the entire second half through injury.
Fitness problems also hampered his 2023/24 debut and continued into the final campaign, but he struck crucial goals in a spring survival push under head coach James Morrison. He scored three times in his last nine outings, against Wrexham, Watford and Preston, delivering seven points.
Morrison wanted to keep him and Albion confirmed a contract offer in May, but it later emerged the forward would move on. Team-mate Karlan Grant also departed, choosing a return to Championship rivals Charlton.
Le Havre, led by former Middlesbrough midfielder Didier Digard, finished 14th in Ligue 1 last season. Maja, formerly of Fulham and Sunderland, scored 19 goals in 81 West Brom appearances and previously played for Bordeaux in Ligue 2.
