Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has this weekend sent a message the way of former Blancos teammates Lucas Vázquez.

This comes after the latter was afforded his competitive debut for his new club.

Versatile full-back Vázquez of course brought a close to his career-long Real Madrid stint earlier this summer.

After the Spanish heavyweights made the call not to afford their veteran defender a new contract, he went on to pen terms with German outfit Bayer Leverkusen.

Vázquez, in turn, was handed his first appearance in Bayer colours on Friday night.

En route to a 3-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt, the 34-year-old saw out the full 90 minutes, conjuring up a solid individual display.

Post-match, Vázquez therefore took to social media to celebrate.
