Kaio César out with thigh oedema as Corinthians face Flamengo | OneFootball

Kaio César sat out Saturday’s session at CT Joaquim Grava and will miss Corinthians’ meeting with Flamengo on Sunday at 20:30 Brasília time in the eighth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.

According to Globo.com, the 22-year-old recent signing has a right thigh oedema, an injury that can be caused by strain or overload. He had already been out a little over a month between February and March with muscle problems. He will also miss Chapecoense on Thursday.

Allan is another absentee. The midfielder is owned by the Rio club and is on loan to Timão until the end of the year. His deal includes a R$ two million fee to face Flamengo, and Corinthians will not pay it.

On the positive side, coach Dorival Júnior has Gabriel Paulista, André Carrillo and Memphis Depay available again.
