Kalulu: I expect a high-pace, entertaining game vs Roma | OneFootball

The Juventus Men’s First Team are back in Serie A action this Sunday, 1 March, with Roma visiting the Allianz Stadium for a 20:45 CET kick-off.

Defender Pierre Kalulu attended the usual Matchday-1 press conference. 

Here’s what he had to say:

“It’s an important week. There’s a mix of feelings after Wednesday - of course we’re disappointed to have been knocked out, but we’re proud of the performance we put in on the night. We’re aware that tomorrow is an important game for us. We’ll have 11 games left, but of course these games against teams with the same goals as us have that extra value. We know our strengths and our ability.

“As a collective, we could be more effectively, be it in offensively and defensively. We’ve dominated all of the games we’ve played, but we need to be more effective. We’re all improving individually, and that makes us feel better as a squad too. We’re all ready for the pressure and expectations. It’s better to play in these conditions.

“The first game against Roma this season served us well as a squad, it’s true. Wednesday confirmed the idea we had in our head of ourselves, that we’re a good team and we’re ready. Roma are a good team, a dynamic side. I’m expecting a high-pace game, and I think it’ll be a good one to watch, it’ll be a battle for sure and filled with individual duels all over the pitch, also with the space for the players to show their level. I think it’ll be a better match than the one earlier this season because we’ve both improved.”
