Kocaelispor host Konyaspor in the Süper Lig on Saturday, 14 March 2026 in Kocaeli, with the home side targeting a firmer grip on a top-half spot and the visitors aiming to pull further clear of the relegation places.
This is 7th against 13th, and Kocaelispor also have the head-to-head edge after a 3-2 win away in October.
Recent form is mixed on both sides. Kocaelispor beat Gaziantep 3-0 and won 1-0 at Eyüpspor, but lost narrowly to Beşiktaş and Caykur Rizespor. Konyaspor defeated Galatasaray 2-0, drew 1-1 with Kasımpaşa and lost at Başakşehir, with a cup win at Eyüpspor in between.
Availability could shape the balance. Kocaelispor list Mateusz Wieteska, Aleksandar Jovanovic and Mahamadou Susoho as injured. Konyaspor are without suspended defenders Guilherme Haubert Sitya and Adil Demirbag, while Ufuk Akyol is injured.
The tactical picture points to contrasts. Kocaelispor have nine clean sheets and concede one goal per game across the season, while Konyaspor average 1.5 conceded and only four clean sheets. The visitors see more of the ball with 53% possession and a high crossing volume, which could supply Yhoan Andzouana, who leads their assists with four. For Kocaelispor, Bruno Petković's six league goals and Tayfur Bingol's five look the clearest route forward.
A Kocaelispor win would take them to 36 points and further consolidate a top-half position. Konyaspor, currently on 24 points, could move to 27 and open a bigger buffer to the relegation zone.
