1. FC Köln will have to manage without Timo Hübers for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.
Hübers was forced off with a serious injury during Köln's 1-0 defeat to Borussia Dortmund on Saturday and is set to undergo surgery on Monday.

According to Bild, the injury involves multiple damages to his knee, affecting the kneecap, ligaments, and cartilage.
Given the severity of the injury, his season is over – and the further course of his career is now in question, the German tabloid reports.
Despite this setback, Köln are reportedly considering extending the centre-back's contract by a further year until 2027 to provide support during this difficult time.
