New Real Madrid signing Kylian Mbappé has provided an insight into his plans to ‘adapt’, to ensure his seamless fit into the club’s star-studded frontline.

Attacker Mbappé, of course, was at long last presented as a Real Madrid player in front of the media on Tuesday.

After putting pen to paper on terms with the Spanish champions early in June, the 25-year-old’s unveiling was delayed until after the conclusion of Euro 2024.

This week, though, is ‘Mbappé’ week in Madrid, with the former Paris Saint-Germain standout, as alluded to above, having today taken his place in front of the media as a member of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad for the very first time.

A whole host of interesting questions, in turn, were put to Mbappé, one of which centered on his fit in the frontline at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Concerns surrounding the Frenchman’s fit alongside Vinícius Jr. in particular have long been widespread, with both players doing their best work cutting in from the left flank.

Mbappé, though, is adamant that the pair ‘won’t have problems’, owing to his readiness to ‘adapt’ to whatever is asked of him in Spain’s capital:

“Vinicius is a unique player, I’m very happy to play with him, but also Rodrygo and all the others. I won’t have problems playing with him. He had a perfect season. It’s me who has to adapt to them to win.”
