Lamine Yamal has penned a new six-year deal with Barcelona after a standout season in which he played a key role in the club securing a domestic treble.
The 17-year-old Spain international's previous contract was due to run out at the end of the 2025–26 campaign, but the fresh agreement will see him remain at the club until 2031.
Yamal, who made his first-team debut for Barça at just 15 in 2023, enjoyed a remarkable season, scoring 18 goals and providing 25 assists in 55 appearances as the team clinched La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup under Hansi Flick in his debut year as manager.
Despite his young age, the winger has already made over 100 appearances for the Catalan giants.
He becomes the latest figure to commit his future to the club, following recent contract renewals for team-mate Raphinha and head coach Flick.
