Le Havre’s Arouna Sangante (23) is reportedly close to signing with Sevilla FC, according to information from Foot Mercato.

Already targeted by the Andalusian club during the last winter transfer window, the Ciel et Marine captain, whose contract expires next June, is expected to join Spain this summer. A preliminary agreement has reportedly already been signed between the various parties.

Trained in Le Havre, the Senegalese defender currently has 140 appearances to his name, including nearly 70 in Ligue 1. A key member of the team that won the Ligue 2 title and promotion to the top flight at the end of the 2022-23 season, Sangante subsequently took over the captain’s armband, which he has worn for three years now.

A starter in each of the 22 matches he has played since the start of the 2025–26 season, the Mbao native has scored one goal and provided one assist so far.
