Leeds United host relegated Burnley at Elland Road on Friday, chasing another step towards Premier League safety amid mounting injury issues on both sides.

Daniel Farke will be without Ilia Gruev, whose season ended last week, and Gabriel Gudmundsson, sidelined for at least the next two matches with a hamstring problem. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Farke also sounded fresh concern over two key players, while Anton Stach has recently returned.

Burnley are without captain Josh Cullen after December ACL surgery, with the midfielder still months away despite progress in rehab. Jordan Beyer remains a long-term absentee after knee and hamstring issues. Connor Roberts is also out, continuing his Achilles recovery and yet to feature this season.

Zeki Amdouni is back in training following a summer ACL injury, is yet to feature this season and could play before the campaign ends. Hannibal Mejbri has not featured since a hamstring issue in last month's 3-1 defeat at Fulham and could be involved at Elland Road. Axel Tuanzebe has been out since February with an Achilles problem despite appearing for DR Congo during the March international break, and his status is unclear.

Leeds hit the 40-point mark with a dramatic 2-2 draw at Bournemouth last week, though another win may still be required in a tight survival fight. Farke is keen to secure it as quickly as possible when Burnley visit.
