Leeds United have overhauled matchday parking at Elland Road for next season, with redevelopment restricting on-site capacity and a new advance digital booking system.
Work to expand the stadium to up to 53,000 by late 2030 is well under way, with the initial focus on the West Stand. Sections have been demolished and the floodlights removed, and construction activity will be visible throughout 2026/27.
The Fullerton Car Park will be closed, with off-site parking secured as a replacement. Following talks with Leeds City Council, the club will manage and operate the council car parks around the ground on matchdays. All spaces must be pre-booked via the club’s online ticketing, with no pay-on-the-day option at council sites.
The new arrangements will also apply to Elland Road friendlies, with RB Leipzig visiting on Saturday 8 August and FC Augsburg a week later on 15 August. The travel plan is aimed at preventing queues from car parks reaching the public highway, with further updates to follow.
"No doubt there'll be some disruptions here and there," said chairman Paraag Marathe. "I think that it's all by design because we're trying not to compromise or sacrifice seats during games during the season."
"So there will be disruptions and probably some annoyances and hopefully everybody can just bear with us as we get through." He was speaking to the Yorkshire Evening Post earlier this summer.
Leeds’ first home Premier League game is against Brentford on Sunday 30 August, the same weekend as Leeds Festival.
