Leeds United hope to be active in the final week of the window, seeking to strengthen their Premier League position.

Attacking midfielder Facundo Buonanotte has arrived on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion, while Jack Harrison has joined Fiorentina and Harry Gray Rotherham, both on loan. TuttoSport reports that Leeds had a €30 million, £26m, offer for Como attacking midfielder Martin Baturina rejected.

Despite Buonanotte’s capture, Leeds continue to be linked with attacking midfielders, and they have reportedly made a bid for Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.

TEAMTalk claims Norwich City striker Josh Sargent has turned down a January move to Leeds. The report adds he wants to leave Carrow Road this month and has his heart set on Canada, with tentative contact from Leeds and Sunderland said to have taken place.

Daniel Farke has left the door open for a new full-back, and the club remain keen to add attacking options before the two February deadline.
