Leeds United have confirmed their line-up to face Brentford at Elland Road, with Lukas Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin handed another chance to link up and Noah Okafor returning to the bench after hamstring and hip issues.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the tie is the last of four Saturday afternoon Premier League fixtures. Leeds are also the first of four relegation rivals with a chance to take points before Sunday games for West Ham, Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur, with the latter two meeting.
Leeds drew 0-0 at Crystal Palace last time out after Gabriel Gudmundsson was sent off in first-half added time. He is suspended tonight, Jayden Bogle returns on the right and James Justin switches to the left.
Joe Rodon, Jaka Bijol and Pascal Struijk continue as the back three. Karl Darlow starts in goal for a 10th consecutive Premier League match after a clean sheet at Selhurst Park.
Ethan Ampadu anchors midfield with Anton Stach central following his first Germany call-up in four years. After only 45 minutes together at Palace, Nmecha and Calvert-Lewin get another opportunity, though it remains to be seen if they partner through the middle or if Nmecha and Brenden Aaronson play wide.
Okafor is fit enough only for the bench, replacing Gudmundsson in the squad, and there are no injuries in the Leeds group. Starting XI: Darlow, Rodon, Bijol, Struijk, Bogle, Ampadu, Stach, Justin, Aaronson, Nmecha, Calvert-Lewin. Subs: Perri, Bornauw, Gruev, Tanaka, Longstaff, Gnonto, James, Okafor, Piroe.
