Leeds United and Adidas have unveiled the 2026/27 away kit, a classic yellow shirt with night navy and white detailing, to be worn with navy shorts and yellow socks.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the design revives the 1984-1998 crest and pairs it with Adidas’ 1972 trefoil, a combination hailed as a 'historic first' for the partnership.
Supporters can, for the first time, buy a long sleeve version, a feature reserved for Adidas’ elite tier alongside Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
The reveal film, set in the Yorkshire Dales and featuring current players, is narrated by Lucas Radebe and celebrates the distances fans go to follow Leeds.
The club’s last yellow away shirt, launched before the 2024/25 Championship title win, sold more than 15,000 in the first 24 hours, a record. That shade and the 1970s smiley badge became linked with promotion and the open-top parade.
The new strip could debut on next month’s USA tour after the 2026 World Cup, against Wrexham on July 25, Liverpool on July 30 and Sunderland on August 2. An Elland Road friendly with RB Leipzig is expected on the weekend of August 8/9, before Manchester United in Dublin the following Wednesday, and the Premier League begins on the weekend of August 22/23.
The 2026/27 away kit is on sale online via the club shop and Adidas, and will be stocked in club stores and selected JD outlets.
