After selling Kerim Alajbegovic to RB Salzburg for a reported €2 million last summer, Bayer Leverkusen later brought him back for a fee believed to be around €8 million after exercising their buy-back clause. Now, the 18-year-old could potentially be on the move again.
Alajbegovic has been widely linked with a summer departure, and local outlet Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger now reports that Leverkusen are open to letting him leave for a fee of €30 million. The teenager himself is also said to be open to a move.
The 18-year-old has mainly attracted interest from Italy, with Atalanta reportedly leading the race ahead of SSC Napoli and Juventus. The Athletic has also reported that Chelsea are considering a move for the youngster.
A stay at Leverkusen can't be entirely ruled out, but Die Werkself are reportedly open to a sale given the strong interest in the player and the number of options they already have on the wings and in attacking midfield, where Alajbegovic prefers to operate.
