On loan from Al-Ahly to FC Barcelona for six months, Hamza Abdelkarim is currently facing administrative hurdles delaying his integration into the Blaugrana squad.

However, a resolution to his situation could be on the horizon in the coming days. After being called up by the Egypt U20 national team for a training camp in Cairo, the young talent was urgently recalled by Barça to finalize the administrative steps needed to secure his documents.

According to the latest updates, the 19-year-old forward is on the verge of obtaining his work permit, which is expected to be completed next week. This would pave the way for his highly anticipated debut in Catalan colors.

Initially set to play with Barça Juvenil A, Abdelkarim is now expected to quickly move up to Barça Atlètic, filling the void left by the departures of Gistau and Víctor Barberá.
