Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami open talks with Real Madrid legend | OneFootball

The brass at Major League Soccer side Inter Miami have kickstarted negotiations with the representatives of Manchester United star Casemiro.

This comes with a view to a joining of forces in the summer.

Midfielder Casemiro is for his part primed to bring a close to his stint on the books of the aforementioned Man United upon the close of the campaign.

The parties have agreed not to renew the terms of the Brazilian’s expiring contract.

Still more than capable of contributing at the top level of the game at 34 years of age, a whole host of clubs from across the world of football have in turn made known their interest in Casemiro’s signature.

And as alluded to above, late this week, one such suitor have made their first move to beat out the competition.

As per a report from market insider Fabrizio Romano:

‘Understand Inter Miami have started talks with Casemiro’s camp as first proposal has been sent! Casemiro, open to Miami move with ambitious project and personal life.’

Any such move would of course see the former Real Madrid man join forces with a one-time foe, in the form of Barcelona icon Lionel Messi.
