Liverpool have initiated contact with Monaco right-back Vanderson ahead of a potential summer move.
The Reds are in the market for a new full-back due to Trent Alexander-Arnold’s exit this summer.
The English international has refused to sign a new deal with Liverpool and will join Real Madrid on a free transfer.
Vanderson has become one of the key players for Monaco since moving from Gremio in 2022.
The 23-year-old has bagged eight goals and 14 assists in 123 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit. He has also earned five international caps for Brazil.
Vanderson has been pivotal behind Monaco’s push for the Champions League qualification this season, racking up a goal and three assists in Ligue 1.
He also produced a memorable performance in the win against Barcelona in the Champions League group stage, bagging two assists.
Vanderson’s growth as one of the solid full-backs in Europe has attracted interest from top clubs.
Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in the Brazilian, who is valued at €30 million.
Vanderson is a well-rounded full-back who excels in the defensive and attacking phases.
He averages 4.01 progressive passes and 2.36 carries per game, while making 3.15 tackles and 1.75 interceptions.
The former Gremio star’s robust nature, agility and attacking instincts make him a top option for Liverpool.
The Premier League champions are also monitoring Bayer Leverkusen wing-back Jeremie Frimpong, who is available for around €40m this summer.
