Liverpool have a lot of questions to answer after they were beaten 3-2 by Bournemouth on Saturday.

Going into the clash, most people thought that the Reds had finally found themselves in a decent run of form, but unfortunately for Liverpool, it seems like their recent unbeaten run was just a fluke.

Indeed, Andoni Iraola's men did net the winner in the dying embers of the game but, after Dominik Szoboszlai clawed the Anfield outfit a point, you'd have expected his teammates to do everything in their power to keep the Cherries at bay.

And, with there now being less than a week left of the transfer window, it's now clearer than ever that Arne Slot needs some fresh meat, which is why it's hardly a surprise to see new links emerging almost every day.

Liverpool set to reignite their interest in Fulham's Antonee Robinson

Before Slot and Richard Hughes chose to spend £45 million on Milos Kerkez, Antonee Robinson was their main transfer target at left-back.

The US international has been one of Fulham's best performers over the last few years with the former Everton ace slowly making a name for himself in the Premier League.

Indeed, he may be 28 years old but that doesn't mean that a move for the American shouldn't be considered by Liverpool, especially since they already have a young talent in that position.

And, even though a move for him looked to be off the table, it seems like some fresh Liverpool links have emerged.

A fresh report from TEAMtalk has shared that Liverpool are 'back on the trail' of Robinson.

However, seeing as though Andy Robertson could be about to join Tottenham for around £5 million, the Reds' plans have now 'shifted.'

Although the most likely option seems to be Kostas Tsimikas returning from his season-long loan with AS Roma, 'discussions' have been reopened about Robinson who is rated 'extremely highly' at Anfield.

The report adds that Robinson is said to be 'keen' on making a move to Liverpool.

Antonee Robinson would be an interesting transfer for Liverpool

Even though Robinson is 28 years old, it's clear that Liverpool need a more experienced left-back to be his cover.

As good as players such as Owen Beck and Tsimikas may be, neither of them have the quality needed to be a regular starter for a Premier League title-chasing club at the moment.

The latter of the two has played his fair share of games for the Anfield outfit but, in the 2025-26 summer transfer window, when the choice between Robertson and the Greek Scouser emerged, Tsimikas was the one sent packing.

Robinson has been described as an "unbelievable" player by Marco Silva in the past, and, if Slot and Hughes can figure out a way to get a deal over the line, it would be an impressive piece of business.

There's obviously no knowing what the future holds but, if Robinson pops up as a potential target for Liverpool, a deal should definitely be explored by the reigning Premier League champions.
