Liverpool have been dealt a major blow with one of their forwards suffering a major setback over the weekend.
Arne Slot's coaching staff have been quite fortunate over the last 12 months to have not suffered too many injury problems.

A lot of credit has been given to Ruben Peeters as well as the Reds scheduling training sessions at different times in order to give sufficient rest to their players.
It has meant that muscle injuries have become less of a problem. Players are fitter and more ready to go on matchdays.
However, injuries cannot be escaped entirely. They are always going to be a part of football and that means unfortunately we are going to see situations like the one that happened to Giovanni Leoni.
Those kind of impact injuries in a contact sport like football are inevitable.
It's a massive blow that Leoni is going to be out for a long-time due to the ACL tear that he suffered.
However, he's not the only casualty from last week.
Jayden Danns had just made his comeback against Southampton on Tuesday and looked really sharp on his return to the first-team.
But just a few days later he was forced off after just over half an hour while playing for Liverpool's U21 side against Ipswich.
As per Lewis Bower on X the Liverpool forward pulled up after taking a free-kick and was immediately substituted.
The extent of Danns' injury is not yet known. However, on Monday, it was notable that he did not participate in first-team training ahead of Liverpool's trip to Istanbul to face Galatasaray.
Danns took part of first-team training before Liverpool's clash against Atletico Madrid and he is a part of the Reds' Champions League squad as a B-list player.
Normally, he would be expected to make the bench and participate in training ahead of the game but the fact that he was not there is not a good sign.
After suffering a horrendous period with injuries, it looks like the young Liverpool forward is now facing another setback.
One can only hope the 19-year-old is able to escape all these niggling problems and finally catch a break. Liverpool's fitness department will undoubtedly work very closely with him in order to make sure this happens.
It's important to note Danns' body is still growing, so these niggles at his age are normal. Liverpool also won't want to take any risks with him to not aggravate his injury further.
