Liverpool have reportedly secured a deal worth one billion pounds. That's the rumour now doing the rounds...
Liverpool struck a deal with Adidas to be their new kit supplier for the next 10 years. Now, that deal was struck around a year ago but only came into effect last month.
The previous supplier, Nike, saw their contract extended slightly longer than normal. It meant we only actually got to see the new kit with a few days to go before the new season.

LFC x adidas Third Kit
The third, in fact, was only revealed last week and worn for the first time on Sunday. And what a kit it is.
But this deal is about even more than incredible kits, of which Adidas have provided three this season. It's about securing a major deal for the club that significantly boosts the finances.
The main kit manufacturer, after all, is one of the biggest deals a football club can realistically strike. And the one with Adidas is certainly a big one.
The exact figures involved in Liverpool’s Adidas deal have been hard to come by. It’s made all the more difficult to judge by how the Nike deal operated.
That one saw the Reds take home a base amount with the option for significantly more dependant on milestones, sales etc. The Adidas deal has always been reported as more of a flat rate.
But what is that rate? Well, sport finance journalist Alex Miller says industry experts have it at around £100m per season. Or a £1bn deal in total.
