Liverpool have looked really promising so far this season, winning all four of their opening Premier League games. The results have been a little touch and go, but the potential is absolutely massive.
This has come with a few issues taking place as well, with a few different midfielders partnering Ryan Gravenberch, with Alexis Mac Allister struggling with fitness, Dominik Szoboszlai having to cover at right-back occasionally and Curtis Jones spending some time out with an injury as well.

Of course, there are some players on the bench who have yet to be called up, with Wataru Endo's minutes particularly limited and teenager Trey Nyoni restored to the youth team for the time being.
But it is not unforeseeable that another midfielder could be signed in the not too distant future and one of the £70m Premier League assets is rumoured to be a target for the Reds in January.
According to an exclusive from Mark Brus in his Daily Briefing, the young midfielder Adam Wharton is highly likely to receive attention in the winter transfer window for a move away from Crystal Palace.
It is his understanding that Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United are all potential clubs to push for a move for the Englishman, following noise around his future towards the end of the summer.
Given the Eagles allowed Ebereche Eze leave and the lack of appetite to let Marc Guehi leave without a replacement signing, a move for Wharton simply wasn't on the table and his £100m price tag might have scared a few potential suitors off, although he remains 'one to watch' when January arrives.
While the Reds already have a pretty stacked midfield unit, there is actually a space available for Wharton to make a real difference to the options available to Arne Slot. He's a hybrid midfielder, capable of playing in a defensive role to cover Gravenberch, as well as the No. 8 position.
His duel-winning ability is superb and he's developed the Dutchman's fine art of playing on the half-turn which makes the style of play look incredibly glossy. Liverpool have technicians all over the pitch, and the 21-year-old would not look out of place slotting in to facilitate more squad rotations.
Of course, bringing him to Anfield will not be cheap and while £100m might not be an accurate valuation, £70m would still represent a pretty significant outlay for a midfield acquisition.
A lot of praise has been sent Arsenal's way for their strength in depth at defence, but Wharton joining the Reds would bring Liverpool's midfield squadron in line with them in terms of quality.
