Lyon in talks over Noah Nartey to bolster midfield

Lyon are in talks to sign Brondby midfielder Noah Nartey, 20, as they look to strengthen their midfield. L'Équipe reports that he has been a long-term target for the club's recruitment team.

This pursuit runs alongside the Himad Abdelli situation, with the Angers player having already agreed to join Lyon this winter, six months from the end of his contract, although Angers are not yet inclined to sell. The two cases are not linked.

Nartey can operate across midfield and also cover out wide. He is under contract at Brondby until June 2027.

Brondby are seeking at least €8m to release him.

After Endrick, whose loan arrival from Real Madrid is now certain, Lyon are preparing an ambitious window. The club are no longer restricted by DNCG transfer controls.
