Romuald Rakotondrabe, Madagascar’s head coach, is still in shock after the 1-0 victory over Sudan, a result that sends the Barea through to their first ever CHAN final.

Speaking to Canal+ Sports, coach Roro could hardly believe what had just happened after the 1-0 win against Sudan that propels the Barea into the 2024 CHAN final. According to him, this achievement is the result of his players’ “temperament and character,” who managed to defend their colors despite extremely tough conditions:
