Mahamadou Nagida signed a contract extension with Stade Rennais on Monday, September 29. The Cameroonian defender remains tied to the Breton club until June 2029, having joined the first team in less than a year.

Stade Rennais announced on Monday the contract extension of Mahamadou Nagida. The 20-year-old Cameroonian defender, who arrived in August 2023 from the Académie des Brasseries in Douala, continues his adventure in Brittany. Since his arrival, the young Cameroonian has made 26 appearances and scored two goals for Rennes.

"Arriving in Brittany in August 2023 from Cameroon and the Académie des Brasseries in Douala, Mahamadou Nagida quickly showcased real potential under the Red and Black banner. An attacking full-back or wing-back, known for his ability to surge forward with pace, he was handed his professional debut by Julien Stéphan in the Europa League, just three months after arriving in France," the club's official statement reads.
