Bruno Fernandes picked out the head of Joshua Zirkzee in the box but the forward's flicked header flew just a whisker wide of the post.
Time is ebbing away from United here as they try and find a leveler. The London Stadium is perhaps as boisterous as it has been all season as the Hammers hold on.

Chelsea collapse themselves. Leeds looked all but out of the game but two goals in the second-half saw Daniel Farke's side pick up a potentially crucial point in London.

Everton capitulate in the second half as Bournemouth come from behind to win on Mersey side.
COLE PALMER MISSES FROM A YARD OUT!
It looked for all the world like Cole Palmer would fire Chelsea ahead in the fifth minute of added time, but the Englishman somehow missed from a yard out and the score stays level!
That kind of night for Thomas Frank and Tottenham.

The home crowd get what they've been begging for as Archie Gray has scored from a corner to pull the home side level.
There was a quick VAR check after a tussle in the box, but the goal stands, and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has new life in the final 25 minutes.

It's a quick-fire double as the Cherries have completed the turnaround in the second-half.

The Cherries have leveled the score on Merseyside thanks to Brazilian winger Rayan's strike past the hour-mark.
It's gut-punch for Everton who had chances to double their lead in the opening 15 minutes of this second-half.

And just like that the hosts double their lead. After Chelsea were awarded a penalty for a shove in the box on João Pedro, Cole Palmer stepped up and dispatched from the spot.

Spurs' blushes were only spared for a few minutes as Malick Thiaw has bundled the ball over the line with nearly the last kick of the half.
The half-time whistle goes just shortly after the goal, and the boos ring out around the ground.
Despite the joy from avoiding the concession of the opening goal, the atmosphere inside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is truly toxic.
NEWCASTLE GOAL RULED OUT!
Spurs avoid a late scare. Newcastle appeared to have opened the scoring when former Arsenal man Joe Willock curled the ball into the bottom corner, but he was judged to have strayed just offside before collecting the ball.
A VAR check bails out the hosts in a frankly putrid opening 45 minutes from Thomas Frank's men.
GOAL EVERTON!
After the Toffees were awarded a penalty for a foul in the box on Jarrad Branthwaite, Iliman Ndiaye stepped up to dispatch the spot-kick for the home side.
It's a potentially crucial goal for Moyes' men as a win tonight sees them leapfrog Merseyside rivals Liverpool for the time being.

Chelsea defender Josh Acheampong sees his name go down in the referee's book after pulling down a Leeds player from behind. It was a promising break for the visitors as well.

The Toffees looked as if they had broken the deadlock this evening, but a physical corner routine was deemed too physical as an Everton player was judged to have interfered in the box.
Over on Merseyside, it's been a quiet start between Everton and Bournemouth. The Cherries could help cement their top-half status with a win over David Moyes' side.

It was a lovely break from the home side, but Xavi Simons' effort from the left side of the box ends up in the side-netting.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are looking to close the gap on Aston Villa in the Premier League top-three as they face off with Leeds.
