Manchester City will refund 374 travelling supporters after a shock Champions League defeat at Bodö/Glimt.

On Tuesday, Pep Guardiola’s side lost 3-1 in Norway, the hosts’ first ever win in the competition. The following day, the club said in a statement that match tickets for those who travelled would be reimbursed.

The message was signed by captains Bernardo Silva, Ruben Dias, Rodri and Erling Haaland.

They acknowledged the sacrifices fans make to follow the team home and away, highlighted the long journey and freezing conditions, and said covering ticket costs was the least they could do on a difficult night on the pitch.

The gesture applies to supporters who were in the away section in Bodo.
