In a recent report, Fichajes stated that Manchester United are keeping a keen eye on Nottingham Forest ace Murillo. It has been claimed that the Red Devils have identified the Brazilian defender as a target for the upcoming transfer window.
The 23-year-old is having another solid campaign at the Midlands club as he has put in a run of impressive displays for them on the defensive third of the field. Murillo has participated in 32 matches for Nottingham this season, finding the back of the net twice in all competitions.
The Brazilian talent is currently among the best centre-backs in the Premier League. Thus, it is no wonder that Man United are eyeing a move to secure his services this off-season.
His current contract at the City Ground will expire in the summer of 2029, which could make it tough for the Red Devils to sign him on a cut-price deal later this year.

Murillo loves a tackle and can time his challenges well to earn the ball back for his team on the defensive third of the pitch. He doesn’t mind clearing the danger when the opposition are on the front foot and excels at playing his way out from the back.
The Brazilian sensation has got a wealth of experience in the Premier League and won’t take much time to adjust to life at the Mancunian club if they can figure out a way to get a deal over the line for him this summer.
We can expect Murillo to add more bite and steel to Man United head coach Michael Carrick’s defence. He is good enough to challenge for a regular first-team spot at Old Trafford in the coming years.
At 23, Murillo has his best years ahead of him, which makes him a great fit for Man United’s needs in this summer transfer window. He will also help the Mancunian giants compete across all fronts in the future. Therefore, the Red Devils would be wise to try everything they can to lure him to the Theatre of Dreams later this year as long as they can get him for a reasonable fee.
