Manchester United summer signing Benjamin Sesko was the hero for the Red Devils against Everton on Monday night, bagging the winner in the narrow 1-0 victory to keep their chances of finishing in the top-four alive.

It has now emerged that the Man United ace travelled 3,500 miles to Dubai for a private training camp just one week before the game.

The Old Trafford club are only playing Premier League games from now until the end of the season following early elimination from the Carabao Cup and FA Cup.

Man United had a 12-day break between their games against West Ham United and Everton, and manager Michael Carrick allowed his players some time off.

Sesko made the most of it, linking up with Sps Performance in the United Arab Emirates to keep his fitness levels up.

The Slovenian can be seen in the clip first uploaded to Instagram going through a variety of drills.

It paid off as his burst of pace left Everton defenders in his wake as the Red Devils launched a counterattack to score the only goal of the game.

The Man United striker now has three goals in his last four appearances for the club, taking his tally to seven league goals in 11 starts.

He started life at the Theatre of Dreams on an underwhelming note, with only two goals in his first 17 appearances for Man United.

However, Sesko has improved significantly of late, with six goals in his last seven appearances.

Man United staff stressed how much of an upgrade Sesko was on Rasmus Hojlund back in October, with his awareness, ball-winning and distribution drawing praise from the coaches.

The 22-year-old is starting to prove his worth and could turn out to be a hit and a long-term goalscoring asset to Man United if he can maintain his current form.
