Manchester United are considering a move for former Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville as part of a potential double deal from West Ham. The Daily Mail reports that the club are weighing up the raid.
Summerville left Elland Road for West Ham in 2024 after a release clause was triggered. He had lit up the previous Championship season with 21 goals and 10 assists, earning awards.
Leeds’ play-off final defeat to Southampton kept them in the Championship, and Summerville, like Archie Gray and Georginio Rutter, moved elsewhere. He struggled at West Ham before bursting into form earlier this year.
The Dutchman scored six in seven in early 2026 to keep survival hopes alive until the final day. West Ham beat Leeds 3-0, but Tottenham Hotspur’s win over Everton confirmed relegation.
Key exits are expected, and Summerville is attracting leading Premier League and European interest. United are also eyeing team-mate Mateus Fernandes as they assess midfield and wide options, should Marcus Rashford leave as expected.
West Ham are said to want a combined fee, which United would seek to reduce. The Athletic has separately reported an approximate valuation for Summerville, who posted five goals and two assists in the Premier League last season.
His price could be shaped by his World Cup, which began well last weekend. He curled in on his tournament debut in a 2-2 draw against Ao Tanaka’s Japan.
"Do you remember me Cry? Congratulations," said former Leeds scout Gaby Ruiz on DAZN. "Thank you Gaby," Summerville replied.
