Red Devils will miss a key part of their attack
Manchester United return to Premier League action on Monday against Everton at Old Trafford.
Ruben Amorim’s side have been on somewhat of a resurgence in recent weeks after their dismal start, and they are five games unbeaten since their 3-1 defeat by Brentford back in September.
The Red Devils sit seventh in the table, just one point off the top four.
They are winless in their last two outings, however, needing late equalisers from Amad Diallo and Matthijs de Ligt in 2-2 draws against Nottingham Forest and Tottenham respectively.
United played well for large parts in north London, with Bryan Mbeumo finding the net once more for his new side to open the scoring, but they were pegged back by Mathys Tel and Richarlison’s strikes before de Ligt notched in the dying embers to snatch a point.
Everton, meanwhile, are 13th in the table.
David Moyes has stabilised the Toffees this term, recruiting smartly with the signings of Jack Grealish and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Manchester City and Chelsea in the summer.
Striker Thierno Barry is yet to live up to his potential, but is beginning to show signs of belonging in the Premier League.
The Merseysiders were victorious in their last game before the international break, swatting Fulham aside 2-0 at the Hill Dickenson Stadium to follow a respectable 1-1 draw at high-flying Sunderland.
Manchester United vs Everton is scheduled for an 8pm GMT kick-off on Monday, November 24, 2025.
The match will take place at Old Trafford.
TV channel: In the UK, the game will be televised live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League, with coverage starting at 6.30pm GMT.
Live stream: Sky Sports subscribers can also catch the contest live online via the Sky Go app.

The big news is that Benjamin Sesko will not be available to Amorim after he was ruled out for a month with a knee problem.
The Slovenian limped off in United’s draw at Spurs having come on as a substitute in north London.
His withdrawal left the visitors with 10 men, but they were still able to scrape a point after de Ligt’s heroics.
There could also be a return to the side for Lisandro Martinez, who was allowed to train with Argentina as he nears the end of his spell on the sidelines with an ACL injury.
The defender has been out since February, and could be a welcome returner for Amorim, who has had to play natural full-back Luke Shaw on the left of his central defensive trio in recent weeks.
Shaw’s strong form means that a start for Martinez could be unlikely, although he could feature in some capacity here.
Kobbie Mainoo was ruled out of the trip to north London with a knock, while Casemiro should also have recovered from an innocuous injury of his own to play a part.
As for Everton, Jarrad Branthwaite - formerly a transfer target for United - is their only absentee.
The centre-back continues to recover from a thigh injury which could see him out until the new year.
United are beginning to look like a well-oiled machine in Amorim’s system now, with players beginning to understand their roles and the patterns of play they are being asked to implement.
Sesko will be a big miss with his presence up top, so that will likely mean that Matheus Cunha leads the line once more, with Mbeumo and Amad Diallo either side of him.
That might work in United’s favour, however, with the Red Devils looking better going forward without Sesko on the field than they did with him against Spurs.
That said, Everton are a tough nut to crack, but the hosts should have enough star power here.
