FC Barcelona completely decimate Atletico Madrid at the Spotify Camp Nou, but it is not enough to go through on the aggregate score. Still, in terms of the performance itself, La Blaugrana were levels above their opposition in this game.

A 3-0 victory at home, it saw Marc Bernal score a brace and Raphinha score once as well. While it might ultimately feel like a defeat since the team will not be heading to the Copa del Rey final, it was still a massive performance that showcased exactly what this team is capable of.

Player Ratings:

Joan Garcia: 7.5/10

Made some good saves and his distribution under pressure was almost flawless as well. Solid display from the Spaniard as he managed to keep a clean sheet.

Jules Kounde: N/A

Had to be taken off quite early during the first half.

Pau Cubarsi: 8.0/10

Immensely important in defense, he made several crucial interventions when needed to keep Atletico Madrid at bay. Beyond that, his passing was exceptional as well.

Gerard Martin: 7.5/10

Great with his passes and solid in defense, the Spaniard was doing well in terms of keeping the opposition at bay. Solid performance overall.

Joao Cancelo: 9.0/10

Simply superb in transitions both offensively and defensively, Joao Cancelo put in a real shift. Delivered an exquisite assist to Marc Bernal and continued to create chances even apart from that.

Marc Bernal: 9.5/10

Won so many duels for his teammates and always showed up in the right places. Scored a sensational brace that almost managed to help the team mount a comeback in this game.

Pedri: 9.0/10

Essentially controlled the entire game, and his commanding presence was effective both in attack and in defense as well. His contributions enabled Barcelona to dominate proceedings while also ensuring that Atletico Madrid remained restricted.

Lamine Yamal: 9.0/10

Simply superb, and his crowning moment in the game was obviously his surreal assist for the opening goal. Beyond that, his passing and dribbling paved the way for some of the team’s best plays throughout the game.

Fermin Lopez: 7.0/10

Put in a shift defensively and in terms of his intensity as well, and the Spaniard did well to do exactly what Hansi Flick demanded. However, his contributions beyond that were quite limited.

Raphinha: 7.5/10

Unable to influence the game as he would have liked to, but his energy and intensity was contagious. He also managed to convert a crucial penalty that gave the team their second goal before half-time.

Ferran Torres: 5.5/10

Beyond an immensely wasteful first half, the Spaniard barely did much to bother Atletico Madrid. Should have done better with the chances that came his way.

Dani Olmo: 6.0/10

Decent performance after coming on.

Marcus Rashford: 6.5/10
