Marco Silva has two absentees in final Benfica training before Hearts first leg | OneFootball

Benfica completed their final training session on Wednesday before hosting Hearts in the Europa League third qualifying round first leg.

According to Glorioso 1904, Fredrik Aursnes and Franjo Ivanovic missed the Seixal session and are unlikely to be available on Thursday. Aursnes is recovering from a muscle issue and also has gastroenteritis, while Ivanovic is being treated for a right foot contusion.

Bruma and Tiago Gouveia were also absent, as they remain outside Marco Silva's plans. Joshua Wynder and Jaden Umeh continue their rehabilitation with the medical department.

The session did deliver a positive note, with youngster Miguel Figueiredo training again with the first team. He used the opportunity to impress and could yet be assigned to the B side.

Marco Silva will hold his pre-match press conference at 15:30. Kick-off at Estádio da Luz is at 20:00 on Thursday, with Benfica seeking to take a first step towards the play-off.
