According to L'Équipe, Paris FC plan an active winter window, considering four to five recruits in attack and midfield to safeguard their Ligue 1 place.
They are five without a win, and Antoine Arnault said the club will strengthen after talks with Marco Neppe. The 0-3 defeat to Toulouse underlined the need.
The rebuild could now reach five signings, with every line except goalkeeper in scope. Defence includes a right-back, given Hamari Traoré's form and Samir Chergui's expected Algeria duty at AFCON.
Midfield is a priority, with one or two arrivals under study, notably an experienced defensive midfielder plus a relay midfielder. Options are being explored in France and abroad.
A striker tops the list. Paris FC have scored once in the last three games, Ilan Kebbal's penalty in the 1-1 with Auxerre, Moses Simon could face competition out wide, and Jean-Philippe Krasso and Willem Geubbels have two goals each.
Names in play include Martin Terrier, 28, back from an Achilles rupture and on two Bundesliga goals in seven for Leverkusen, Elye Wahi, 22, with 10 appearances and no goals for Eintracht Frankfurt, and Arnaud Kalimuendo at Nottingham Forest, often a substitute.
Loans are preferred, though a major outlay on a 9 is possible. Finances are strong, and exits could involve Cafaro, Dicko, Hamel and L.Gueye. The window before the 2026 World Cup may tempt players to relaunch.
