With his first three goals against Olympiacos, Mbappé scored the second fastest hat-trick in the competition. Not only achieving this milestone, the number 10 also scored another goal, completing the match with a poker-trick.

Previously in November, the Frenchman scored twice against Ukraine in the World Cup qualifiers, reaching 400 career goals. He needed 537 matches and was behind Pelé, Gerd Muller, and Messi in the 'speed run' ranking, but did reach the milestone faster than Cristiano Ronaldo.

This same double against Ukraine for the French national team also brought the player close to breaking another record. With 55 goals scored for the national team, Mbappé is just two goals away from matching Olivier Giroud, the top scorer of the national team with 57 goals.
