Middlesbrough sacked manager Michael Carrick following a 10th placed finish in the 2024/25 season.
The club announced in a statement today the dismissal of Carrick alongside coaches Jonathan Woodgate and Graeme Carrick.
"We'd like to thank Michael, Jonathan, and Graeme for all their hard work and unwavering commitment. We wish them all the very best for the future," a statement from Middlesbrough said.
"The club will be making no further comment at this stage."
Carrick began his managerial career as interim boss of Manchester United following the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in November 2021.
The former England international then joined Middlesbrough early into the 2022/23 campaign where he oversaw a total 136 games.
Boro finished in the play-offs in Carrick's first season before and eighth-placed finish in the 2023/24 campaign and then finishing 10th in the most recent season.
