Michelle Agyemang named European Golden Girl | OneFootball

Two Arsenal and England players, Michelle Agyemang and Leah Williamson, have been given further accolades.

The awards have been handed out from Italian outlet Tuttosport who named Williamson the Golden Player Woman after a superb season that saw the defender help her club to lift the Women's Champions League before being part of the Lionesses team that won their second European Championship in a row.

This is yet another token of recognition for Williamson who was also named as part of the FIFPRO Women's World XI on Monday.

Meanwhile Agyemang was named Golden Girl. The forward spent last season on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion from Arsenal before that loan was extended once again this summer.

The teenager was crucial to England's Euro 2025 victory, popping up for some crucial interventions to help turn the tide for Sarina Wiegman's side. Unfortunately, the player is set to miss the rest of the season after picking up an ACL injury while on international duty last week.
