AS Monaco are considering Mohamed-Ali Cho as they reshape their forward line this summer. According to L'Équipe, the Nice forward is among options being assessed as Maghnes Akliouche is expected to depart.

Monaco are braced for a sizeable overhaul in attack, with the very likely exits of Folarin Balogun and Akliouche, and possibly Alexandre Golovine if a suitable offer arrives.

Interest in Matthis Abline remains active despite two bids rejected by Nantes for the former Under-21 international, 23, who is under contract until 2028. The latest offer was worth €17m plus €3m in bonuses.

Cho scored five goals in 37 appearances for Nice last season in all competitions. His pace and runs in behind fit a profile Monaco currently lack.

He is contracted to Nice until June 2028 and is among those expected to leave this summer. Monaco could soon open talks over a move.

Cho will report for Nice’s return on Wednesday, which will be dedicated to initial medical tests.
