As part of the Champions League play-off round of 16, AS Monaco will host reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain this Tuesday night at the Stade Louis-II in the Principality of Monaco.

The match kicks off at 20:00 GMT. The return leg is set for Wednesday, the 25th of the same month, at the Parc des Princes in Paris.

This clash marks the first-ever meeting between the two sides in the Champions League. However, they've gone head-to-head numerous times on the domestic stage, including in Ligue 1, the Coupe de France, the Coupe de la Ligue, and the Trophée des Champions.

The historical record slightly favors the Parisian club. Out of more than 110 official encounters across all competitions, PSG have claimed around 47 victories, compared to Monaco's 38, with roughly thirty matches ending in a draw.
