Mount Pleasant seals top of group, O&M FC advances to Caribbean Cup semifinals | OneFootball

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The 2025 Concacaf Caribbean Cup continued with Mount Pleasant FA earning a 2-nil win over Universidad O&M FC in Group A on Tuesday at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica.

Gadail Irving opened the scoring in the 36’ with a stunning free kick to place the home side in the lead.

The Jamaican side doubled its lead in the 63’ when Raheem Edwards got around the goalkeeper and fed Ranaldo Biggs for the finishing touch.

The victory marked a perfect group stage for Mount Pleasant FA, earning all 12 points to lock up the top spot in Group A. Goalkeeper Tafari Chambers recorded four straight clean sheets as they finished with seven goals scored and none conceded.

Despite the loss, Universidad O&M FC advanced to the semifinals as the second place in the group.

Universidad O&M FC will play Cibao FC in an all-Dominican semifinal clash. Mount Pleasant will face the second-place team from Group B.
