Manchester United confirmed the appointment of Ruben Amorim as their new manager after sacking Erik ten Hag last Monday.

He will take the reins after the November international break. Ruud van Nistelrooy will continue as the interim manager for the two more games.

Amorim’s Sporting CP side will face Manchester City in the Champions League on Tuesday.
