Sevilla’s Loïc Badé has been making waves, particularly after his impressive performance for France at the Summer Olympics.
His growing reputation caught the eye of French national team coach Didier Deschamps, who included him in the squad for the October international break.
With Badé now attracting attention, it’s no surprise that several top clubs are showing interest. According to SPORT, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, and Paris Saint-Germain are all reportedly monitoring the promising defender.
Spanish outlet Diario AS has also mentioned that Liverpool are considering Badé as a potential replacement for the aging Virgil van Dijk. Liverpool scouts were spotted watching Badé during last month’s Barcelona-Sevilla match at Montjuïc.

Football Insider reported on Friday, citing sources, that the Magpies are working on a deal to sign Badé in the January transfer window.
The report suggests the Sevilla standout could be available for £30 million to £40 million, significantly cheaper than a potential deal for Marc Guehi. Crystal Palace’s £75 million valuation of the 24-year-old is expected to decrease in January, as he will have just 18 months left on his contract at Selhurst Park.
Sevilla, on the other hand, is facing financial difficulties and may be inclined to accept substantial offers for Badé to help raise funds. Nonetheless, moves in the January window are challenging to make, so it will be interesting to see if Newcastle pull off this transfer.
