Real Madrid said in a statement they will not exercise their buyback on Nico Paz this summer.
He had requested to remain and will spend 2026-27 with the Italian club.

Como will play in Europe for the first time in their history next season, and the 2023-24 promotees can count on him. He scored 12 goals and supplied six assists in Serie A this season, helping secure Champions League qualification.
The priority buyback clause for this summer was set at nine million euros. Madrid will retain an option after next season, probably at a different amount.
Paz is currently at the World Cup with Argentina.
