Chelsea beat PSG 3-0 on Sunday night, totally blowing away the best team in Europe with a superb showing.
The attention went to the attackers, of course. Cole Palmer was given a 9.9 rating after he picked up two goals and an assist, while Joao Pedro bagged his third in just his second start for the club.
But there were great performances through the whole team, and one of the best was from Trevoh Chalobah. He and his fellow defenders kept a dangerous PSG team totally quiet, managing their pace, their intensity and their technicality superbly.
On the ball the team had to perform too, considering the fearsome pressing the opposition rely on. Chalobah never once looked spooked under fire.

As some have pointed out, it was less than a year ago that Chalobah was playing friendlies for the youth team after not being taken on the preseason tour of the USA. He was frozen out in the bomb squad and the club did all they could to sell him on.
In the end, they only managed a loan, and by January they wanted him back. He returned, slotted straight into the team, and for the second season in a row helped a huge improvement in the back leg of the season.
Playing a crucial role in a win over PSG is the icing on the cake of a brilliant 12 months proving himself all over again.
The lack of transfer rumours we’re hearing right now makes us think he’s finally convinced the sporting directors that he’s good enough to be a really useful player for us. If only they had listened to us 2 years ago.
