The Greens' prized asset has attracted a plethora of suitors ahead of the summer transfer window
Plymouth Argyle have enjoyed a remarkable change of fortunes in the second half of the League One season, and with four matches to go of the regular campaign, Tom Cleverley's side are still in the hunt for a play-off place.
Just a few short months ago, this situation would have been seen as a pipe dream for many at Home Park, at a time when Tom Cleverley was under intense scrutiny with back-to-back relegations from the Championship to League Two looking more of a clear possibility.
The Greens are now firmly looking upwards, though, and they are in the fight against the likes of Stevenage, Luton Town and Huddersfield Town to try and secure sixth spot, which would see them compete in the play-off semi-finals.
Many players in this part of Devon have emerged with real credit for aiding a major upsurge in results and performance levels, but it is also fair to say that the club may not have been anywhere near this position so late in the season if it wasn't for the goalscoring threat and prowess of summer signing, Lorent Tolaj.
The 24-year-old has been on a stunning individual trajectory for some time now, having excelled at both Aldershot Town in the National League and, indeed, Argyle's current divisional rivals, Port Vale, who he helped gain promotion from League Two at the end of last season.
However, there is the clear threat that Tolaj may not be at Home Park for much longer despite signing a lengthy four-year contract with his current employers back on August 22nd.

After signing from the Valiants when Argyle triggered a £1.2m release clause in Tolaj's contract in North Staffordshire, not many have fared better when it comes to finding the back of the net at League One level this season.
15 of his 16 league goals this season have come for Argyle, with the first of those coming against Stockport County in a 4-2 victory back on September 6th, in what was the forward's fifth appearance in all competitions for the club, having already marked his debut with a brace against Cheltenham Town in the EFL Trophy by that point.
Only Dom Ballard of Leyton Orient, Stockport's Kyle Wooton and Jayden Wareham of bitter rivals, Exeter City, currently boast better goalscoring records in the third tier, and given the fact Tolaj has also provided five assists, it perhaps isn't much of a surprise that transfer speculation over his future has arisen.
After Scottish giants, Celtic, were heavily linked with a winter move, it has now been reported by Belgian sports outlet, Voetbal Primeur, that Anderlecht set to rival the Championship trio of Norwich City, Stoke City and Swansea City for Tolaj's signature ahead of the summer window.
It has also been claimed that FC Copenhagen are monitoring the Swiss youth international's situation, whilst it remains to be seen if the aforementioned Belgian side are guaranteed to be in the market for a new centre-forward.

Given the impact Tolaj has had at Plymouth in such a short timeframe, it also isn't the greatest of surprises that clubs higher up the pyramid believe they could land a major summer coup.
In Swansea's case in particular, Vitor Matos could view the Argyle hotshot as an ideal replacement for Zan Vipotnik, with the Championship's leading scorer reportedly attracting interest from the likes of Benfica, Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Leeds United among others.
However, with Tolaj's contract running until 2029, the Devon outfit will certainly hold a lot of power when it comes to negotiating an eventual price tag, whilst a bidding war could also be music to their ears.
