Nottingham Forest have made a third cut to Europa League ticket prices for Thursday’s last 16 first leg against FC Midtjylland, following sluggish sales and fan criticism. Captain Ryan Yates underlined how a full City Ground can lift the team.
Prices were trimmed by £10 on Tuesday, then reduced again on Wednesday morning for Season Card holders and MyForest Members, with adult seats between £15 and £30. A few hours later Forest extended the reduction to all supporters.
Revised prices now range from £25 to £40 for adults, £20 to £35 for seniors, £15 to £30 for youths and £10 to £25 for children. The original range had been £50 to £70. Members continue to get the best rates.
Yates said the atmosphere is huge, speaking of the connection with supporters and the extra boost when the City Ground is loud. He welcomed the club responding to concerns to help more fans attend, while noting the financial balance is difficult for the club.
Head coach Vitor Pereira said the whole club, including supporters, must be ready for the fight and the big challenge ahead in both the Europa League and the Premier League.
