Aston Villa forward Jacob Ramsey is a primary summer target for Nottingham Forest this summer, while Everton and West Ham United retain an interest in him, according to the Telegraph.
The City Ground club want to bolster their attack after selling Anthony Elanga to Newcastle United, and the Villa star has caught their eyes, but they could face competition from their counterparts at the London Stadium club and the Hill Dickinson Stadium club for his services.
Both Everton and West Ham could do with the services of Ramsey, but Forest are offering Europa League football after finishing seventh last season in the Premier League.
They could also lose Morgan Gibbs-White to Tottenham Hotspur, and manager Nuno Espirito Santo sees the Villa star as a player capable of playing across their front line.
Villa are not looking to lose important players this summer after qualifying for the Europa League themselves, but it is believed around £30 million could be enough to recruit the services of the 24-year-old.
Selling Ramsey would also represent pure profit for the Villans as he is an academy graduate, but they have shown that they do not need to sell players for profit and sustainability having not sold any on the eve of the 2024-25 season when it officially closed on June 30.
Ramsey featured in 46 games across all competitions last term, weighing in with four goals and seven assists, and manager Unai Emery would love to hold on to such a player.
He started 25 of those games, but he missed out when England manager Thomas Tuchel unveiled his first squad back in March, with the German name-checking him, and he remains on his radar ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
It remains to be seen whether a move elsewhere would appeal to Ramsey, but Forest are keen on signing him and a move could be on the cards in the coming weeks.
