Sportsmediaset reports that Nottingham Forest and Roma are expected to meet in the coming days to discuss defender Jan Ziolkowski, with the Premier League window opening on 15 June.

The outlet says a valuation gap remains, with Forest ready to offer €15m (£13m) against Roma’s €20m (£17m) stance, and that Roma need funds before 30 June. Forest’s interest is described as concrete and the difference is seen as not insurmountable.

At centre-back, Murillo and Nikola Milenkovic are the established pairing, while 35-year-old Willy Boly is almost certain to move on this summer, having not featured since September. Tyler Bindon’s next step follows a loan at Sheffield United, with Jair and Zach Abbott having featured last term.

MediaGol claims Atalanta are closely monitoring full-back Nicolo Savona as a possible replacement if Marco Palestra is signed elsewhere.

Midfield is also a focus, with Forest linked to Celtic’s Arne Engels and Inter Milan’s Davide Frattesi. Glasgow World reports AC Milan, Roma, Lazio and RB Leipzig are now in the race for Engels, while reports suggest Middlesbrough’s Hayden Hackney favours a move to Everton.

Tuttomercatoweb adds that 21-year-old Bologna striker Santiago Castro is being sought after by Forest.
