Nuno Mendes adds to PSG’s injury list | OneFootball

Tuesday night was a night to forget for Paris Saint-Germain. Not only did the reigning European champions suffer the first defeat of this season’s UEFA Champions League campaign, they also lost three players to injury. 

Ousmane Dembélé came off early on. He sustained a calf injury that PSG have confirmed will keep him out for several weeks. The Ballon d’Or winner is out of the upcoming international break, during which France will look to secure their place in next summer’s FIFA World Cup. The club also confirmed that Achraf Hakimi suffered a severe ankle sprain and will also miss several weeks. RMC Sport understands that his period of absence is estimated to be between six and eight weeks.

And Nuno Mendes was also injured. PSG confirmed in their medical report that the Portuguese defender sustained a sprain to his left knee during the 2-1 defeat to Bayern Munich. Mendes will therefore“undergo treatment in the coming weeks”, the club confirmed.
