This week it's Liverpool fan and DJ, Paige Tomlinson.

When did you start becoming a Liverpool supporter and why?

I’ve supported Liverpool for as long as I can remember. My whole family are massive Reds, so it’s something I’ve grown up with — it’s just always been a part of my life. 

What was your favourite memory of being a Liverpool fan growing up?

For me it’s got to be that night in Istanbul, 2005 Champions league final against AC Milan. Coming back from 3–0 down against AC Milan to win on penalties. That feeling was just something else! 

What's gone wrong at Liverpool this season at the moment?

I think it’s a combination of things, really. When you’re coming off the back of being champions, the expectations are sky-high, so any dip in form feels even bigger. We’ve had quite a few new faces come in and some key players move on, so it feels like the team’s still finding its rhythm and figuring out its new identity after Klopp.

At what point can this season be considered a 'failure' for Arne Slot and his team?

I don’t think it’s fair to label this season a failure just because of a tough spell. I feel it’s more of a transition period. Arne Slot inherited a side that had been shaped by Klopp for nearly a decade, so adapting a new playing style at a club like Liverpool, with that level of expectation definitely takes time.

Of course, the results haven’t gone the way we’ve wanted but sometimes you need short-term pain to lay the foundations for future success in my opinion.

Tell us about your new single Listen 2 Me...

Listen 2 Me is pure energy - it’s made for them moments when the room’s locked in and you just want to push things to the next level. I’ve been so excited to finally get this one out after teasing it all summer, it always gets the best reaction from the crowd.
